Mr.Poland started with DMC in 2006 and has extensive experience in the design of process cooling water intake and outfall structures. One of his recent projects is heading the team working on the floating structures at Collyer Quay Hotel Development in Singapore. He was also involved with the reclamation works and seawall construction for the development of Resorts World at Sentosa, Singapore and is the team leader for the detailed design of the piled seawall, rock bunds, finger piers monorail protection structure for the same.

Mr. Foster has been based in Southeast Asia since mid 1997, initially working out of DHI’s project offices for the West Coast of Sabah Shoreline Management Plan and subsequently developing the project office into an independent branch office in 1999. Mr. Foster’s professional experience lies predominantly with integrated impact assessments of coastal development projects, particularly those relating to reclamation and dredging activities, spanning subjects as diverse as water quality, corals and navigation impacts. Mr. Foster is presently Project Director for the Environmental Monitoring and Management of major dredging and reclamation works associated with the construction of Pasir Panjang Phase 3 and 4 in Singapore.

Mr. Abas is involved in a number of important projects for the development of Port Klang in Malaysia. Among these are the US$5 million project on the proposed construction and completion of Segamat Inland Port, the US$3 million proposed renovation and upgrading of Port Klang Authority’s Headquarters and the US$2 million proposed construction and completion of single storey main intake at Jalan Parang, North Port for Port Klang Authority, Malaysia. He is also a contractual Technical Advisor for Ministry of Transport, Malaysia on Port Planning and Development.

Jørgen Juhl has 25 years of international experience with planning and design related to ports, waterfront developments, and marine engineering, notably surveys, hydrographic design conditions, marine structures, dredging, reclamation, beaches, and environmental impacts.

He has project managed large waterfront development projects in Qatar and UAE with construction value of the marine works exceeding USD 500 million. Further, he has participated in multi-disciplinary transportation projects as manager for the hydraulics related to bridges, immersed tunnels and artificial islands. Recent projects include environmental and engineering studies for a 40km causeway between Qatar and Bahrain and the Busan-Geoje Fixed Link in South Korea.
